Legal Question in Family Law in Louisiana

Ok, so the last time I posted this I got a rather rude response. First off, I am a FEMALE and my friend is also a FEMALE. She doesn't want the baby and the father won't help out so she wants me to adopt the baby. I live in a two bedroom apartment with a roommate, can I still adopt the baby? I'll be moving out three months after the baby is born, and I can move out before the baby is born, I don't want to break my lease if I don't absolutely have to. The baby would have to sleep in the same room with me, in a crib of course. My room is huge (big enough to where I have a circular dining table, 3 chairs, a couch, a bed and a mini fridge and mini freezer) so of course it's big enough to put a crib and changing table. I just want to know if I'd be approved during a home study or would I need to find a new place first?

A single person can adopt, but you have to terminate the father's rights before the Adoption would be approved. You need to sit down with an adoption attorney.
