Legal Question in Family Law in Louisiana

unfinish business

i hired an atty to do a job for me which was, to get my child support reduced, overpayment of child support, for cp parent to hold insurance, and to have my kids so call daycare looked into, and comtempt, visitation modified. well i paid this atty over 2 yrs ago and just finally went to court on March 26,2003. i provided him with a list of things:that the state have me paying daycare, which my kids have not/never attended. the only thing that was addressed in court was just the overpayment on my child support. ? is how in the world can an atty only address one issue at a time when there mother will not comply with the visitation order for me to see my kids when I live here in VA. the order states that we have joint custody. but is there anyway for me to have the state look into these other issues, which should have been done 2yrs ago. do you think is bit to long to wait on court when all the issures should have addressed at that time?

Re: unfinish business

Ask your attorney. I assume the court having jurisdiction is in Louisiana, but cannot tell from your inquiry. If this is a case where the child support proceedings were generated through the state as opposed to your wife being represented by a private attorney, that could explain the inordinate amount of time it took to get it before a judge or hearing officer.

Why don't you ask your attorney these questions, if you haven't already done so.
