Legal Question in Family Law in Louisiana

Please view this question very important. My older sister married and guy and he had two kids from a previous marriage. I fell in love with my sisters now stepdaughter which is no blood relation at all. Is it wrong for me to marry her? We both love each other an our families agree that we are not related but only by marriage of my sister. The one I love is so called my step-niece but I love her and she loves me and I wanted to know if it was legal for me to marry her?
