Having visitors of the opposite sex while separated

Is there a law that while you're separated you cannot have visitors of the opposite sex stay the night if you have a child in the home? Or does it have to be stated in the paperwork and signed by both parties?

The provision of no visitors of the opposite sex staying overnight during the custodial periods of either party is usually something that is included in the judgment or stipulation regarding child custody.
