Legal Question in Family Law in Louisiana

my wife has a child from a previous marriage and the father is behind on child support payments. he does not have job at this time because he is lazy and doesn't want to work. my question is what can i do to get the money my wife needs for her daughter. she has the court papers saying how much he owes. who do i get in touch with to report these delinquent payments that he owes? keep in mind i have no mercy for this kind of person. i work hard week after week to support my family while sits at home collecting unemployment. please let me know who i can get in touch with and what i can do to make him pay? thanks.

The answers to your question will probably be in this website: http://www.dss.state.la.us/index.cfm?md=pagebuilder&tmp=home&nid=7&pnid=0&pid=9&catid=0

The office of family support can garnish his income and both prosecute non-support cases and suspend state licences (hunting, fishing, driving & professional) for those who do not support their children.
