Legal Question in Family Law in Louisiana

my wife and i are divorcing after only 2 years marriage. i purchased a house before we were married. i alone have paid all house notes, insurance, utilities, credit cards , auto insurance. she has paid nothing toward this house. i have paid for maintenance and new paint and house leveling. she has a deceint job. she thinks she is entilited to everything in house and $9000.00 if i keep house. is this fair and legal of her

If you are the only owner on the deed, it is your house. You will have to prove that she did not contribute to paying for any home expenses. If there are children and she gets custody of them you might have to allow her use of the home. Clearly you have money. See a lawyer of your own ASAP.
