How will my low credit score affect my boyfriends high score once we get married?

You and he become a community. What he makes is half yours and what he makes is half his. Debts may be collected from YOUR income, which would then include his income. And, credit companies pay attention to things like marriage of good credit and bad credit because history tells them that YOU will influence your spouse's buying decisions.
