last will and testament
does louisiana accept a will that was drawn up in texas for a persons last will and testament. It's my will and I had it drawn up in texas when I lived there, i now live in louisiana and i wonder if it is still valid. can you help me?

Your TX will is still valid if it was properly prepared and executed in TX. But you may want to update it. You can create your own valid LA will by writing it all yourself by hand and dating and then signing it at the bottom below everything else. Or you can have one prepared for you and notarized. I'm putting up a will registry so family members can find out if the deceased had a will; look for it at keepyourwillsafe com I will also offer to keep an electronic copy of the will.
