Legal Question in Family Law in Louisiana

I have a one year old son and my husband and I have told my parents since birth that hitting him was not allowed. My mother has recently hit him repeatedly for no reason. What should I do to make sure that she does not get visitation rights unsupervised?

Grandparents do not automatically have visitation rights in Louisiana. You and your husband have the legal right to deny their access to your kids. I don't see any judge telling a non-parent that they can hit a child against both parents' wishes.
