Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Louisiana
on august 4th a waste connection truck came through my neighborhood and tore down the main power line which in turn tore down my pole and electrical line and destoyed my pole electrical box, weatherhead and decorative fence i had around it.. i filed a claim with waste connection. they came back and denied my claim. i was without power for 10 days. i am out thousands of dollars to replace my electrical pole and electrical box. repaired the fence and lost all my food in the fridge and freeze. plus i had to find a place to stay for 10 days until i got electricity back. they declined my claim saying it was a low line that caused the problem even though they admit their driver pulled the line down with their truck. do i have a case and what are my options

You have a claim. Contact an attorney or file a “small claim” depending on the amount of your loss.
