I bought dad's girlfriend's car

I purchased my father's girlfriend's car for 1000$, only to find out a two months later that she had not transferred the title to me. when i asked her for it, she refused and demanded her car back. I was threatened with being kicked out of dad's house at the time, so i gave her back her keys. She refused to return the 1000$. This happened 18 months ago. There are still ongoing arguements about money, and i'm on my own now. My question is: Am I within my rights to sue for the title of that car?

As you said, "This happened 18 months ago."

You had 1 year from the incident to file suit. Since you did not I believe that your case is no longer valid.
