Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Louisiana

My Brother Driving My Car

My brother was borrowing the car that myself and my mother both were paying for. A traffic accident occured in Louisiana. He was driving on a highway with rain when the car that he was driving hit a dip in the road and started to spin. A taxi ''T-boned'' the car that he was driving. At the time of the accident, no one was reported injured. The passenger in the Taxi, or the driver. Has now filed a suit against my brother. He showed it to me cause my mother and I owned the car. The Insurance company totaled out the car. In the lawsuit, it reads that my brother was the owner and operator of the vehicle. He is not he owner. Is there anything that we can do about that at all?

Contact the insurance company. They have a duty to defend. Discuss it with them and their lawyer.
