Do I have a claim

A jealous boyfriend of my daughters came to my house today and broke out windows and totally destroyed my truck. He broke out all windows and put dirt in the engine. I have a witness who saw everything and called police. This however, does not help me with expenses. I have a five hundred dollar deductible on my homeowners and no coverage on my truck. What can I do?

First, contact a trusted lawyer. The jerk owes you and the insurer. Some insurers will try to take their "share" of what you get from him. It is best to make a deal with them first.

After that you can proceed in court. Small claims court if it is under $2000.00 and there is one where you live.
