Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Louisiana

i created a fake twitter account under a real persons name and then posted entries about that person and gave out her phone number and some information but not address or work place.i deleted the account and deleted the history on my computer. she says that she has a stalker now and went to the cops and said she thinks its me but she has no proof because it was a fake account and it has been deleted.Could i be in any trouble?

You could be in HUGE trouble. The Attorney General in Louisiana has a whole unit that handles this type of case.....AND they are VERY good. You cannot wipe out all the evidence, so you better be ready to get a lawyer and also be ready to plead for mercy. However, you may get lucky and the people she goes to may not look for help from the AG's office. Because of the way women and children are being murdered and stalked nowadays, the crap you did could cause great harm and that is the why the AG is on top of it. Lastly, ask yourself why you would do such an evil thing? You need counseling. I work with disturbed adults and abused and neglected children, so that is why I am being so detailed.
