Can the last to die leave a lifetime usufruct to one child and

not the other two?

There is no forced heirship anymore in Louisiana if there is no disability or age consideration. The will controls the disposition of the estate. If the first parent to die leaves no will, then the children will inherit one-half of the estate. A usufruct to that half could not be given to only one heir.
