Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Louisiana

Dispute

My Mother and Father bought a vehicle and gave it to my son to drive about 1 1/2 years ago. He is eighteen (18) years old and no longer resides with me. My Mother and Father are now wanting me to pay for his insurance. The truck is in my Father's name. Am I liable for this.

Re: Dispute

You are not responsible for this. Your son is an adult. I suggest the grandparents donate the vehicle to your son. Insurance will become the young man's burden.
