trying to find out about fathers death
how do i find information on a case handled by a lawyer if the lawyer has been disbarred.

Contact the Louisiana State Bar Association in Baton Rouge. If the case was filed in a Louisiana court, then if you know the docket number you can look at the record in the clerk of court's office where files.

Even a disbarred attorney is required to retain their files for past cases. So the attorney should have their files if this isn't from too long ago.
