Inheritance

Can a person who is a decendent of an decease individual make an inheritance claim? Fact #1: The decease individual did not claim the inheritance because of family issues. Fact#2: There are no legal documents signed by the decease idividual to exclude the person from the inheritance.

Yes it is possible for a descendant to make their deceased ancestor's claim. I do not have enough facts to say specifically that you have such a claim. There are time limitations for this action so contact a lawyer immediately.

Yes. As an example. Grandpa dies and leaves 5 kids.....4 accept the succession and 1, Billy, predeceased his dad....Billy's kids can make a claim for Billy's part. NOTE.....even if Billy is alive and SIGNS A DOCUMENT RENOUNCING THE SUCCESSION, his kids MUST come into his share or sign a renunciation themselves.....
