Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Louisiana
a judgment against me has expired. the clerk of court does not see a re inscription for it.
the clerk said i need a lawyer. (they can't give "legal advice")
can i file the document myself or do i need a lawyer?
if i can what is it that i'm filing?
seems to me if it's not re inscribed then i should be able to do this myself.
thanks

You will have to file a motion to vacate judgment based on prescription.
