Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Louisiana

A piece of heavy equipment machinery was parked on my property. The owner of the machinery hired someone to move the equipment for him. The hired equipment mover loaded the machinery onto his truck and trailer for it to be moved. The truck and trailer were parked on the street in front of my property to load the equipment. Before the equipment was bound to the trailer, the owner of the machinery arrived to assist in the loading of his machinery onto the trailer. The owner of the machinery entered the machinery to complete the final steps in arranging onto the trailer. The machinery slipped off of the trailer and it landed on my property in the ditch beside the road. The owner was rushed to the emergency room for an evaluation and released after several hours. He is suing the euipment mover for the repairs to his machinery? How responsible, if any, am I?
