Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Louisiana
Potential Juror selection
I recently received a mailing that states that I am being considered as a ''potential juror''. I filled it out like it said, & mailed it in, w/explantions why I couldn't possibly attend! I told them my medical situation, & the fact that I don't drive, & have never driven. They sent the mailing back & told me if I was looking to be excused, I need to send back a doctor's excuse. The problem is, the doctor I had no longer works @ the hospital I saw him at. My question is: what can I do to resolve this to where I don't have to go?!

Re: Potential Juror selection
See if a doctor at the hospital will examine your records (or if necessary examine you) and write the letter.
