Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Louisiana

I signed a general release of any and all claims against a home inspector and didn't realize that would be forever letting them off the hook. I have major structural defects and unsafe home. Is there anyway around this?

If you hired the home inspector and trusted the findings you could still have an action against him for failing to properly inspect. You do have an action to rescind the sale against the seller.
