Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Louisiana

do it yourself succession possible with legal forms. my mom left property to me and my two brothers, which they have already sign their portion over to me, have. I have paid all taxes on property since mom died, and have all my receipts, have all deeds to the property. can succession be done , by do it your self legal forms, I have little money.

If there is no real estate in your mother's estate, you can file a simple affidavit to get possession of the estate. If there is any real estate involved, you will need an attorney to do it for you. You won't have the knowledge necessary to do it yourself. Even if there were some sort of DIY kit for Louisiana succession law (which is much different than succession law in common law states), you wouldn't know the proper procedures to follow.
