Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Louisiana

truck towing

My son is in the Airforce and stationed in Louisiana. He was sent to Georgia for two months in July. He went to the apartment manager and told about his orders and asked them to keep an eye on his apartment and his truck because his truck had been broken into twice while on the property. They agreed, he left two postdated checks for his rent. A day or two after he left they towed his truck because on of the tires went flat. He did not find out until August when a friend called to say that his truck was gone. What can he do about this? They did not try to contact him at all. They put a sticker on the windshield but how was he to see it from Georgia?

Re: truck towing

I assume you want to know how he can get compensated for the tow truck bill? You really weren't specific. He can simply ask the landlord to pay him, or he may be able to sue the landlord, but he really needs to have an attorney review the whole situation first
