Witholdding of mail

I was living with someone. My federal stimulus check went to their address a few days after I moved out. That person refuses to give me the check. Is there any law against what they are doing or any way to get the check from them?

It's called theft. If you call the law and tell them your lover stole your check, they probably can get it for you.
