I won a civil judgement against my ex-wife 5 years ago for $22,000. She was involved in a minor auto accident 3 months ago and is up for a settlement of $15,000. After her lawyer gets his third, how can I get the remainder. What steps do I have to take? Thank you.

In most cases, personal injury settlements comprised of bodily injury will not be seizable. If some portion is lost wages, it is possible to seize that portion.
