Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Louisiana

A few years ago, I made an written agreement to purchase an eighteen wheeler. The price of this truck was 10,000; a thousand dollars down an a thousand dollars a week until paid in full. I finished paying for the truck (in which the paper states) but never got the chance to change the title because of my incarceration seven days after last payment. I'm wondering is this paper legal and if so what can I do to acquire either my money or the truck. Also, if the truck has been making money after the last payment, am I entitled to all of its earnings while in use?

It will depend on the agreement you signed. Certainly if the total price has been paid, the title should now be transferred to your name.
