medical benefits denial
Can I successfully win an appeal for a denial of benefits by my insurance provider? I had a medical emergency and went to the nearest hospital, which was an out-of-network facility.

I assume this question is related to the one I just responded to. Again, the answer depends on the language of the plan and the reason for the denial, but you have to make sure you do everything you can at the appeal stage, because your legal rights are largely dependent on the information submitted at the internal appeal stage.
