Legal Question in Health Care Law in Louisiana

I received medical treatment for a broken ankle from June to August 2009. I paid for every visit in full.Now its January 2011 and I am getting a bill for an x-ray from this doctor.This is the first and only bill I have ever gotten. They say that it was an oversight on their part. Am I liable for this bill seeing how its been so long and this is the only bill I have ever gotten?

Yes, you are still liable for it. Open Accounts have a prescriptive period of three years.
