Legal Question in Insurance Law in Louisiana
my daughter was in an accident last july, hit from behind at a red light, she was 5 months pregnant. she went to hospital by ambulance and her and the baby were checked out. 2 days later she was driving and her arms went numb and she have been having bad headaches. at the time of accident , no one would do x-rays because of the pregnacy, she then went to a chiropractor who treated her for a month. she still have headaches. the insurance company of the at fault driver , fixed the car, did not pay 100% of rental , cause they say that the shop said my car would be ready on a certain date and they stoped paying after that date whether it was ready or not. they have also made an offer for pain and suffering that i think is not fair, under $2000. and paying medical bills. talked to an attorney that said i should take the settlement since their were no out of pocket expense. should i contact another lawyer to get a second opinion? don't know what to do, a year is almost up.

You bet you need to speak to another Attorney. Unless you are leaving out some important details that caused the first attorney to tell you to take 2 grand, then it appears its worth more than that.
You need to see a lawyer as based on the above the case is worth a lot more than 2000 and could be significantly higher. I'd be happy to discuss the matter with you any time.

Oh, unlike Peirce Hammond, I did not leave you a phone number..........and I will not. Talk to an attorney.
