Legal Question in Insurance Law in Louisiana
I have a long term disability policy which is 60% of my wages.The insurance company is now saying that since social security has disabled me and I will be collecting social security,I cannot collect on policy.I paid for this preimum and I expect the insurance company to pay for my 60% income! Am I correct? donald

It depends on what the policy says. You need to get a copy of the actual policy and have an attorney review it with you. If you do not have a copy, demand one from the insurance company. They must provide it to you upon demand.
