Legal Question in Insurance Law in Louisiana

What are my rights ?

I was involved in an Auto accident two days ago, my vehicle struck by someone who ran a red light. I was told by the other party's insurance that it will take 48 hours to file a claim, then another 48 hours to get an adjuster to com an look at my vehicle. AT this time i am not able to use my vehicle to go to work and I do not have the means to get a rental car, can you please tell me what my right are ?

The insurance company has 14 days from the time they learn of the claim to adjust the property damage portion. That does not mean it must be settled in that time. If they will not authorize the rental car company to rent you a car, you will have to use your own insurance coverage if you have it, or rent the car yourself, or impose on others for a ride.
