Legal Question in Insurance Law in Louisiana
My son is renting a Mobile Home and last month the central ac went out and the owner did nothing for about a week in these hot summer days; there were 4 children also living there so my husband and I bought 2 ac window units ; the owner finally had the central air looked at and fixed. My son while trying to remove ac unit ended up putting his arm through plate glass window, he ended up in surgery for 2 hours has a shredded muscle in his fore arm, severed the ligaments and tendons may never have full use of his hand and then 2 weeks after the initial injury ended up with a Staph Infection he had just started a new job 1 week earlier has no insurance and now the company he just got hired on is telling him they can not hold his job any longer. My son finally got the Home Owner Insurance Info. and they are telling him that there is no coverage fora tenent who is injured on the property that can not be right . I need to know if that is true and is there no other assistance for him and the family?
