Legal Question in Insurance Law in Louisiana
My wife has been told by a friend that her father had a life insurance policy. My wife is one of the two children on the policy named as a beneficiary. nobody has contacted her sence farther passed away. what should we do. He passed away more then two years ago.

Insurance Companies are very careful not to pay people who are beneficiaries of their policies. The "friend" needs to say how they know and what company had the policy. Then your wife can check with that insurance company. I suspect the "friend" is mistaken.
