Legal Question in Intellectual Property in Louisiana
I am thinking of starting a home business where I hand-paint Bible verses on wooden signs for use as home decor. I would sell them on Etsy and at craft shows. I wanted to use the New International Version of the Bible, which is under copyright. Do I need to request permission for use of this version, or is there any way to get around this?

If it is copyrighted, yes. Use the King James version, or another one that is in the public domain.
