Dear LawGuru Friend,
I am of the opinion that such running away
by a seventeen year old has no legal
consequences, as there is no crime in
leaving home and he is no longer a juvenile
so that the juvenile authorities and laws do
not apply to him. If you would like to discuss
this futher, e-mail me at [email protected],
and give me your name and phone number and I will
call you and/or e-mail you to discuss it further.
Sincerely,
Hardy Parkerson, J.D.
