Is a minor considered an adult at the age of 17 in Louisiana and what can they do or not do and what law supports this, if any?

In Louisiana, 17 is a terrible age. You have adult obligations, including being chargeable as an adult for any crimes. You do not have any real rights. You cannot, sign contracts, own land or make sdult decisions.

At 17 the worst thing is they are adults for criminal purposes, but a minor for all other purposes.
