teen mother dating 24 year old

i am a 16 year old mother. i am dating a 24 year old. i will be 17 soon. can the 24 year old still get in trouble for dating me once i have turned 17?

I will assume that you are talking about sexual activity. I assume this because you can eat dinner and see a movie with any person at any age.

In Louisiana (it is different in other states) a person who has had a seventeenth birthday can have consensual sex with any other person who has had a seventeenth birthday.
