Legal Question in Employment Law in Louisiana
on the 19 the of June 10, I had to take a post accident urine test. I work out of town so I was instructed to stay at the hotel until the urine test came back. Yesterday I had to retake the urine test. I have been sitting here at the hotel for a week now. I put down eight hours for each day on my time sheet because I was instructed to be here. Should I be compensated for being at the hotel since i was instructed to stay here

I would demand payment for it. Of course, I would not stay there either. I would walk out and find another job. While they may fire you if you leave, they can't force you to stay there either. To do so would be false imprisonment.
