Bonus pay withheld

Can my employer refuse to pay me the bonus that I earned during a certain period of time, then fire me in the morning when I would have been paid my bonus that evening.

The key inquiry is whether the bonus was "earned" at the time you were let go. I've handled a lot of bonus claims and the facts of each one play a big role in whether the bonus is payable. I would advise you to talk to an attorney about the specific facts of your case.
