Legal Question in Employment Law in Louisiana

Called to work

I am a full time hourly employee who is also a front desk manager at a hotel. I only supervise four people. I have an Assistant General Manager who is salaried. My question is, am I required to come to work on a scheduled off day. I always thought you couldn't force someone to come in on their off day.

If you want to keep your job. Even if you take the company to the labor board, all you will get out of it is unemployment. In employment, the dog still wags the tail for the time being.
