Can i be charged with anything for taking documents from my employer and giving them to the irs

Theft to start with.......but what I would worry about is a civil suit for money damages! Since the only reason you would do what you suggest is to get back at the employer, unless of course you are just being a good citizen, then you better hope that what you give them ends up making him liable for taxes he was dodging, otherwise, whatever you cost him in legal, CPA, and court fees in successfully defending against the IRS, plus damages for the embarassment, could end up being paid by you in a suit for damages!
