Legal Question in Employment Law in Louisiana
If I ask a company for my personnel file do they have to let me see it or can they deny me access to my file? If they deny me access what recourse do I have to get to see the file?

It is the property of the company. However you do have the right to view it. There may be a procedure you have to follow. This will be set out on the policy manual.
