Legal Question in Employment Law in Louisiana
I completed a job for a roofer. After completion, payday was put off for 2 days then my boss nor the contractor answered the phone. I only know first names and the agreement was oral. I contacted the home owner and they only offered to pass along a message to the contractor. I am owed $625.

You can file a small claims suit against the roofer and a workman's lien on the property where the work was performed.
