Legal Question in Employment Law in Louisiana

Can you draw unemployment in louisiana if you called in only one time bc you had a serious emergency and youve been on your job over 4 years and they had other managers that could of covered your shift but claimed they had something to do or they could of called employers in to relieve you,you called in 2 hours in advance and you followed the chain of command by then notifying your district manager and she tells you if you not there by a certain time your terminated then she slanders your character to another employee and she changes her story from a fire to a voluntarily quiting.

As long as there is not fault on your part-such as several documented write-ups-you should be able to collect the benefits.
