Legal Question in Employment Law in Louisiana
I feel that I was wrongfully terminated Tuesday from my job. After being accused of making an order wrong my manager threw a fit after a customer call back and complained. He slammed the phone and started to approach me while cursing at me. "I'm the manager, if I want you to do some stupid shit I can do that, because I'm the manager, or you can step." So I presumed to leave the premises. He then followed me to my car, claiming to making sure that I wasn't going to damage property. I don't know if there is audio evidence of the verbal tirade, but I do know that there is video evidence of him approaching me while cursing in an aggressive manner. I am a young lady of 5'2" and I feel as he did this becuase I was much smaller than him. The general manager called and said he reviewed the tape and didn't believe that his manager would do such a thing. After that rebuttle, he said that he would have to let me go. What should I do?
