Legal Question in Employment Law in Louisiana
I was hired May 19, 2016 and May 1st week I took an approved by supervisor vacation 5 days that would have been completely earned May 19, 2017. Now that I put my notice in to leave they are wanting me to pay it back by keeping my last check.

Second, it would help to know whether this type of behavior (allowing vacations before they are earned) is consistent with past actions. Third, have you signed anything allowing your employer to deduct anything from you wages for any reason? Fourth, how much money do you make, because a deduction like this could cause minimum wage issues.
