Legal Question in Employment Law in Louisiana
I hurt my shoulder at work , the company sent me to their doctor he said that i sprained it and to continue to work light duty no lifting , pushing or pulling over 10 Lbs no over head work , so the manager put me in repack witch consist of lifting 20 + Lbs and overhead work all day every day for about a month before i got an mri and the mri showed that there was a small tear in my rotator cuff , i was than sent to their orthopedic , he instructed me the same but the company kept me doing the same work . i then found my own orthopedic he has requested surgery. this is being covered by workers comp , but should the manager or the company be paying for this because they refused to follow their doctors stipulations and due to that caused a sprain shoulder to become worse and become a torn rotator cuff

That is a pretty classic worker's comp situation.
