Legal Question in Employment Law in Louisiana

Is there a labor law in Louisiana stipulating the minimum number of hours an employee must be scheduled off in between scheduled shifts? Such as an employee scheduled to work until 1:00 a.m. being required to return to work at 9:00 a.m. on the same morning?

All work related laws are federal. The federal laws do not prohibit shifts from changing from day to night or vice versa. They do not prohibit the schedule you are describing.
