Legal Question in Employment Law in Louisiana

I live in Louisiana. I am employed as a teacher. Last paycheck, on August 25, 2010, the school board office took about 90% of my paycheck from me due to being "overpaid" last November in my 13th check. They did not inform me of this until I contacted them via email because I only had $300 some odd dollars go into my checking account via direct deposit. Do I have cause for action against the school board office?

For what? If you were not over paid, then you do. If you were over paid, why did you keep it?
